Bad Brain Call
by Frearson Howe.
Bad Brain Call is a collaboration with artist Annabel Frearson, in the form of an 8 track album and an exhibition, held at Xero, Kline & Coma Gallery in London, during may 2012.
The record (available on limited Vinyl and CD Book) is an album of pop songs written by Annabel Frearson using only words from Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein (1831), set to original music by Joe Howe.
I worked from the lyrics and very minimal cues to create a consonant and engaging sound world for the text, with vocal help from Julia Scott & Lachlann Rattray. It was a very fun project to be involved in.
